If you haven’t been directed to my YouTube forecasts, then try this one for Oct 10th-16th, 2016 (or just read the text summary for the video): October 10th -16th, 2016: To See and Be Seen | Tarot Forecast & Self-Love Challenge
I’ve been enjoying these weekly forecasts and falling into the habit of making them, though due to my schedule I often don’t get to post them as far in advance as I’d like to. This video series was started just because I felt like it, and it became a great way to deepen my reading/channeling skills, get over my fear of the camera, and to learn video editing.
Sleep disruptions this week and feeling almost too much new “stuff” to integrate. My body keeps feeling not my own, and highly uncomfortable whenever I settle into it. I wonder who else feels like this!
Links to the articles I enjoyed over the last 2 days, with favorite excerpts beneath each one.
This moon will shake things up and move things around to move us outside of our comfort zones. Being overly emotional and agitated during this moon is normal, as all emotions are highlighted during full moons. BUT, Eris kicking it up a notch with aggression and public displays of purging on Social Media. People want to be heard and felt, supported, and it usually goes the other way around, backfiring because of the aggression coming up and out. This energy also bringing lies and untruths to the surface, which you see playing out in the political arena and possibly in your personal life as well. Know this too shall pass.
When Earth moves will it be a gradual or sudden change? It will be sudden at first and then gradual. Immediately after the sudden change what will we notice? A lot of chaos, disbelief and a lot of anger! Why anger? Because you have all been lied to. You have been taken. A lot of your rights…You have been manipulated. How will that be revealed to the people, I wonder? Through the chaos, all truth will come out. There will be a group of people. There are a lot of groups of people that already know the truth and eventually the mass will know the truth and along with that there will be a lot of new technologies that will be revealed. The new technologies are already here.
From here on out, we should be empowering people to find the answers within themselves. For too long, others have continued to look outside of themselves for the answers they seek, through psychics, mediums, seers, and writers. The message we get when we are in burnout is ENOUGH serving at the moment.
Thank you for testing my friendships. The last few months have been interesting. You see, I’ll get together with my friends over a glass of wine and discuss kids and schools and what’s going on in the community. Rarely do we get together and talk about how we feel about other races, abortion, abuse, and other issues that really define who we are. Since you’ve been on this path, I’ve learned more about my friends than I ever wanted to know…but really should have. Now I know who is willing to sweep sexual assault under the rug, who doesn’t think immigrants have a place here, who thinks that any race is inferior, and who thinks that being a woman is a joke.
Eris shows herself
It apparently isn’t relevant that women are constantly instructed to take precautions that safeguard us from harm. That we are told to be on the lookout for strange men and avoid interacting with them. That if we don’t follow this highly sensible and not at all pointless advice that we are ‘asking for it’ and should know what to expect. None of this matters – because the moment we do take measures to protect ourselves and give a heads up to other women too, we are accused of demonising all men and ruining the lives of individual ones.
Power & Powerlessness
When participants were primed to think of a time they lacked power, their personal characteristics fluctuated between groups. This pattern that suggests lacking power leads people to vary their personalities and behavior slightly across social settings, so as to accommodate the various goals and expectations of others.
By contrast, when participants had thought of a time they held power, they were more consistent in their traits across social groups. The freedom that comes with power allowed individuals to be the same person across contexts. A follow-up study using similar methods also found that powerful individuals reported feeling more authentic—more like their true self—than those momentarily made to think about lacking power.
