Slingerland explained, between great frothing gobfuls of munched hazelnut, that this inherent sense of fairness is found in humans everywhere, but that studies show that it’s less pronounced in environments where people are exposed to a lot of marketing. “Capitalist, consumer culture inures us to unfairness,” he said. That made me angry.

Former Insider: “TEAL is Deluded and Dangerous”
A surprising number of hits on my site get through because of people Googling the words “Stuart Wilde ghouls”. I guess that like me, they finally picked up the book where he rants about them and doesn’t make a whole load of sense. I talk about this here, provide further links, and hope that these readers (hi!) get the courage they need to make their own decisions about Wilde and his work. Not every spiritual author out there is going to make sense, or fit everyone at any point in time. Discernment should always apply, and if you just need a little more info, or a sense of company (“I can’t be the only one who thinks this is whack”), hey, I’m happy to come through for you. ;) So here’s another author/videoblogger I haven’t resonated with, for various reasons, and LaVaughn of Celestial Reflections does a great job generally documenting TEAL and other spiritual celebs/authors who may be reneging on their responsibilities, integrity, or respect for boundaries. In this case however, the evidence for emotional dishonesty and manipulation is chilling.
Information empowers. The attempt to hide or suppress anything should always raise red flags.
